OZHIPHOPSHOP and Velvet Couch Clothing Presents!

Exit Strategy have returned to fold setting Brisbane alight once more with their Check The Strategy show. Sat July 23rd

After putting in the hard work with the live launch of their debut album earlier this year, they’re back to punctuate the local hip-hop scene with another bangin’ set of boom bap. As promised, they didn’t go anywhere.

Exit Strategy will make their return to South Brisbane’s Milk Factory on Saturday, July 23. This is a return to the scene of their debut launch that saw Exit Strategy tear the place apart after a slew of warm up acts who ramped the venue to a new level of celebration in local music brought back once again by longtime supporters Ozhiphopshop.com andvcclothing.com

Mid June, Exit Strategy took down a full house at Fortitude Valley’s Globe Theatre for the DwizofOz album launch in preparation for this event. Once again, the boys are proud to lay down some of the city’s dopest local supports before coming out to headline an all-round night of unadulterated Bris-bang hip-hop.
DJ Backlash will be up on the decks peeling out beats before the event unfolds. The night’s undercards opens with live sets from our own dopest solo rhymesayers Punch and Nuggy Gee followed by Pauly B and rap trio Def Men Walking (Aussieozborn, Occaphats and DJ Johnny Love) to warm up the event. Then finishing the opening rounds, we have Brisbane’s own SussOne and Gaz Hazard going gully and all-out on the mic at 10pm before Exit Strategy’s own Insideus drops a beat set which rolls into headline act Exit Strategy to take out the big event.

The Milk Factory on Montague Road, South Brisbane provides the perfect enclave, with the city backdrop behind them, providing local hip-hop a full night of activities which includes raffles and prizes. Doors open at 7.30pm so come through with a crew, bring your other half for only ten bucks. For a dope night-in that promises to be a scene primed to explode from the four walls and into the streets from whence this music came.
